After competing as a NCAA sprinter while studying molecular biology, I worked hard to integrate healthy habits into my professional life. Earning my certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine helped me apply science in new ways and start the business I'd imagined for years...
My mission is to provide excellent wellness resources and services to individuals, teams, and coaches who desire to create a balanced life using science-based programs.
My vision is to inspire and support community wellbeing through innovative programs, healthy relationships, and regenerative principles. We will work together to create spaces that encourage excellence, diversity, and care for the whole person. Curiosity and kindness are at the core of my coaching philosophy and practice.
I may refer clients to health professionals when a need falls outside my scope. This may include physical therapy, counseling or other services that go beyond my specialty in exercise instruction, nutrition, and general wellness education. I am not licensed to provide mental health therapy, meal plans, or any diagnosis or treatment of injury and illness.
I build my business on a foundation of trust, and I expect clients to treat themselves, each other, and me with respect. I do not tolerate harassment of any kind, as I seek to protect the health of my training relationships and partnerships.

A well-designed strength program supports joint and bone health, balance, mood, cardiovascular conditioning, and metabolic wellness.
The American Heart Association currently recommends at least two workouts per week to enjoy the many benefits of strength training.
My programs are based on the Optimum Performance Training model from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Progression through Phase 1 and Phase 2 follow successful performance of stability, strength, flexibility, and endurance exercises, depending on the equipment available to the client.
Phase 3 and Phase 4 are recommended for individuals seeking muscle hypertrophy and maximal strength gains (heavy lifting), while Phase 5 power level exercise is recommended for both athletic performance and general health goals.
Plyometrics and speed/agility/quickness (SAQ) work may be integrated into any level, depending on the ability of each client. These drills may improve reaction time and reduce the risk of injury in sports and daily life.
Cardiorespiratory exercise is recommended to complement most strength training schedules. Clients who have access to a pool, cardio machines, track, or trails may request protocols to supplement their training program. Building aerobic and anaerobic capacity supports any training goal alongside lifelong wellness.
Learning how to move efficiently, mindfully, and safely is one of the best investments we can make in ourselves and our communities for years to come.
